“Big Break for Small Business” was a social media-driven marketing initiative for American Express Merchants first launched in 2011. The contest rewarded five small business with social media tutorials, business strategy sessions, and $25,000 cash to help them grow their business and give back to their communities.
Working with the team at Digitas, I helped develop the 2012 initiative from the ground up. My responsibilities included the development of the online program hub, copy for all email communications and landing pages, American Express social posts, as well as script development for promotional videos and interviews.
