I served as the naming director for Marriott Bonvoy, the new combined loyalty program encompassing Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and SPG. The name “Bonvoy”, a homophone synthesis of “Envoy” and “Bon Voyage”, was the result of a collaboration between Mother New York and Marriott International’s global leadership team.
